Meet Dr. Martin

Dr. Charissa Martin grew up in Salem, Oregon, and is a graduate of the University of Oregon Honors College.  She graduated magna cum laude with Bachelor of Science degree and received a double major in Romance Languages (Spanish and Italian).  She continued her education at Oregon Health Science University where she graduated with high honors in 2005.  It was there that she met her husband and Helena native, Jeffrey Foster.

Upon moving to Helena in 2010 with their young children, Dr. Martin started Elkhorn Family Dental in Boulder.  In 2016, with her kids now in elementary school, Dr. Martin took over for Dr. James Hicks upon his retirement.  Queen City Dental Studio is our Helena location, though patients are always welcome at our Boulder location.

Dr. Marin’s favorite part of dentistry is knowing and caring for her patients of all ages.  She takes pride in making sure that each and every dental appointment is the best experience possible.

Dr. Martin and her husband have two active sons, Chase and Caden, and two sweet dogs, Jackson and Jorgia.  When she is not in the office, you can find Dr. Martin spending time with family and friends, in the mountains, or at a sports field.
